So –Plot Bunny– hello. ::rolls eyes at said Plot Bunny::
I know you’re just dying to run around wild inside my mind right now with that awesome dialogue you presented me with at work today, but can you please not? For a little while anyway?
I wrote down that entire scene for you in a script form so I can easily revisit it after my current book, but until then please don’t shout at me again like you did today. I only want to hear certain voices right now and those two newbies you threw at me are not them. I suppose I will allow you to whisper me more dialogue on occasion, maybe, but don’t go creating whole damn movies up there interrupting the current film in progress. Deal?
Please?
Yeah, you get it. They’re back, those damn bunnies. At least right now it’s just one. I could maybe handle one. Dear Lord please don’t let it be four at a time again like the last time. I can’t write multiple stories at once. I just can’t, especially since I’ve been trying to read at least one book a week while writing too. I didn’t do that the first time around because reading can be just as much of a distraction as plot bunnies for me sometimes.
Aside from the aforesaid bunny takeover today, I started reading “If I Stay” by Gayle Forman at lunch. I’m 65 pages into it and its pretty good so far, but it jumps around a bit. The first time it happen I was like, huh? But when it happened the second time it was more comfortable and by the third time I expected it to be coming.
I’m pondering adding book reviews to my FanNook site because of a couple of reasons.
1) I read a lot now and I blab like crazy when they’re good to anyone that will listen. Funneling that excitement into a review could be heard by a lot more than my mouth could reach and it’s good practice writing.
2) Two of the current sites on FanNook (LOST and Legend of the Seeker) will be completely useless after these seasons. Not that I’ve updated either of them through these seasons at all anyway cause I’m a slacker like that these days, but still… It would be nice to add a new one that’s updates aren’t dependant on the season it’s popular in.
I don’t know when I’ll find time to add FanNook back into my schedule, but I know it needs to happen soon. I’ve neglected it so badly for months now and it had so much potential. Plus I think I’ve made it pretty clear how I hate wasted time and clearly that’s all it was creating it if I don’t also intend to keep up with it.
Two Happy Birthday Shout-outs before I go…
-AND-
Tomorrow to EdgyAuthor – Hope exams don’t suck the fun out of it!
Peace – Sarah
