September Books In My Mailbox

There were a lot of pre-orders in September and one of the October pre-orders shipped early. Plus, I ordered two additional books because they were so incredibly cheap on discount, I couldn’t resist. This will be the last big month of books for the year as I only have one pre-order left for the end of October. It’s hard to believe I’ll receive nothing until Christmas after that. It kind of makes me sad, but I do still have plenty to read and with the holidays approaching my time will be largely occupied anyway. So, onto September books, yes?

September Books

The Blood Keeper (Blood Journals, Book 2) by Tessa Gratton

The Hunger Games Official Illustrated Movie Guide

Foxfire (Other, Book 3) by Karen Kincy

Watcher in the Woods (Dreamhouse Kings, Book 2) by Robert Liparulo

The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, Book 1) by Maggie Stiefvater

Hidden (Firelight, Book 3) by Sophie Jordan

You guys get anything good in September?

The spines alone on all those books look so pretty! (Especially the one for the second Dreamhouse Kings book–so awesomely eerie!) Hopefully you enjoy all of them as much as you did Foxfire!

That’s a shame how your pre-orders are already dwindling down, but you’re right, it’s not like you have a lack of books right now, heh. My pre-orders have dwindled, too. I only have one left to receive this year, I think. (The next Vampire Knight manga. CAN’T. WAIT.) As for things I got in September…well, you’re already pretty aware of all that, haha! I’ve been most excited about the animated flicks I got recently. I already watched Anastasia, and oh, so awesome. It’s way too much fun giving into my nostalgia like this, especially since it helps fuel my urge to make art!

The Dreamhouse Kings have these wonderfully eerie covers (and spines of the ones in my possession so far). You already know I read that DHK book and Hidden last month and loved them both as much as Foxfire! It was a good month for reading. 😀

As for my expected books, October will have quite a few more than I anticipated after all. It’s Robert Liparulo’s fault. 😉

Is that Vampire Knight manga the last in the series or will that keep going on?

Hope you enjoy the rest of the DHK series once those books arrive! 😀

And heh, no, this is definitely not the last VK book! There’s still another I need to pre-order, which equals to at least 16 total in the series. Not sure yet if there will be more or not.
