November: In Review

November was honestly one of the most unsucessful months of the whole year for me, which is super disappointing considering how sucessful November's have been for me in the past. It's like I jinxed myself or something. I'm pretty down on myself at the moment after a series of failures this weekend and the realization that it was time to make this also full-of-fail post, so rather than try and make this long and broken up like usual, I'm just going to make this short and sour (because it can't be sweet with so little to report).

I only wrote a little under 900 words this month.

I only read Maggie Stiefvater's Scorpio Races.

Of all the pictures I took, this one of Gideon on Thanksgiving is really the only one worth sharing.

I hardly even listened to music, but I did get into Atlas Genius at the start of the month.

I gained weight.

I'm glad November was over with the quickness. At least this month, even if I fail at all the things I aim to improve on, it's Christmas and it's pretty hard to kill my spirit during Christmas.

Watch, I probably just jinxed myself again.

How was your November? Hopefully better than mine.

Aww. I’m sorry November was such a letdown for you. :( *hugs*

Even though you’re not impressed with this month, I think you should still be proud of the words you wrote, plus the one book you read. After all, you did write and read something, which is something not everyone can say! (And the book you read was such a brick–that’s impressive all on its own!)

Gideon is such a cutie, as always. That picture is so perfect for autumn! 😀

I’ve never heard of Atlas Genius before, but I can see why you got into them. This song is so easy to listen to! It has a very “lazy summer day” feel to it, which is always fun!

And aww, that sucks about the weight, but you have to remember that it is the holidays. Everyone gains weight when Thanksgiving and Christmas plow through. Neither holiday can leave a person unscathed!

Crossing my fingers that December is a better month for you!

So far, December is passing far too quickly for my taste. Once again, I feel like I’m hardly enjoying it. :/

That’s a shame! Too bad time never slows down for the holidays instead of speeds up…
