BOOKS! *stares at all the pretty spines* I recently got Inferno as well. I also got the last Morpheus Road book and can’t wait to plow through that! (Hopefully it won’t disappoint me like a certain other series.) Everything else I’ve gotten lately has been comics. XD

I hope you love the next Morpheus Road book – I know you’ve been loving that series! Is this the last book? And comics are ALWAYS fun! I just ordered three additional books for May (I only had 2 pre-orders). I’m feeling slightly bad, but at least they were pretty cheap? :/

Yep, the last book! I’m kind of afraid to read it since my expectations are so high, haha.

And uh-oh, three more books?! Hey, at least they were cheap, like you said. Plus, it’s only three books. It’s too easy for a book-splurge to go into the double-digits with this kind of addiction, after all!

I understand your fear. I’d be weary too, especially after that last long series you read that crushed everything you loved about it in the last few pages. :/

You want to know what’s so bizarre about these three books I ordered outside of my pre-orders? They’re all paperback and that’s not terribly unusual, but what is unusual is how excited I am for them to BE paperback. Last time I checked, I was strictly a hardback kind of girl. I don’t know wtf is going on in my head right now.

At least this series is only three books long, so if the end is just as disappointing as the other series, it won’t be as big of a deal. (I’m hoping that won’t be the case, though!)

And oh, paperback? Fun! I usually gravitate toward those more than hardbacks, so it makes me happy to see you opening up to them. :)

The paperbacks are so pretty right now, each of them have a different texture, too. I’m sure I’ll still be anal about not bending the spine, but I’m really excited about holding them in my hands for a change!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I’m always afraid of bending the spines, too! It’s really easy to bend ’em when the book is pocket-sized, but the “taller” paperbacks seem to be “in” now, and those are always much easier to keep in nice spinal condition…

    books!!! Books!!!
I so so miss buying books. *sigh*
Anyways, the library will have to do. And I got an interesting dystopian YA recently: Orleans.
    Happy reading to you. :)

One day you’ll be able to splurge again and I’m sure you’ll appreciate it more than most since it’s been so long since you were allowed to! :) How are you liking Orleans?

I got distracted by shiny MG books. I never got past the first chapter. lol. but I’m going to pick it up again. I need a break from middle grade books. Well, a short break. lol
