Like so many of my goals this year, I even failed at meeting my reading goal. The only true thing I accomplished this year in regards to books was reducing the amount I acquired. Reading requires time and sadly time is something I had very little of this year. Also, I’m not a fan of reading a book that takes me a month of more to complete. If I can’t start and finish it in a week’s time (which is still pushing it honestly) then there’s no point in starting it at all for me.

However, despite not meeting my goal for the year, I did read quite a few awesome books. The list below reflects the order in which I’d rate them, the first being the best and the last being the worst (although none of them were actually horrible reads – picking a favorite was actually hard). At some point in the middle of the year I started writing mini reviews for all the books I was reading via GoodReads so if there is a review available for the book, I’ve made the title a link to my GoodReads page. Check them out, you might find a book worth reading. Feel free to ask me about any of the books that don’t have reviews. I’d be more than happy to share why I did or didn’t love it!
